I placed the Resolution Torch of Diabetes Advocacy Inuksuk Torch 02 and 03 at the Canadian Rocky Mountain Parks UNESCO World Heritage Site in Banff, Alberta, Canada. Included with the Inuksuks were small, laminated cards explaining the story of the Inuksuks and including this blog site address encouraging people who find the blue circle hula hoops to share when they found the torch and what happened next in the journey...I look forward to hearing more, or at least imagining more about what happened to the Inuksuks...

Hi. My name is Nathaniel. I'm from near Toronto, On, and have been travelling out west for a few weeks now. I'm 15, and I've had diabetes for 4 years. I found this Inuksuk at the top of Sulpher Mountain in Banff, on August 3rd. I decided to take it and place it in Cathedral Grove, a forest of Giant Douglas Fir trees on the road to Tofino, B.C., on August 8th. We checked back there on our way to Vancouver today (August 11th), and it was already on it's way to somewhere else. I look forward to finding out where it goes next.
Good Luck,
~Nathaniel

Hi Nathaniel. Thanks so much for your message. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know what happened to the Inuksuk Torch. You chose a fitting spot to pass the Inuksuk on - the Douglas Fir trees seem particular fitting. I wonder where it ended up from there...The imagination provides the best stories.
Thanks so much for sharing your experience. Diabetes is a disease that is never far from view - always in the realm of consideration for where you are, where you need to be, where you are going, what you will be doing, and the balance of what is going in and what is going out...

Hi Dan Dan. I appreciate you taking the time to let me know what happened to the other Inuksuk Torch from Banff. I wonder where it ended up from Lake Louise...
